Develop scientific applications, command and control systems, data visualization tools, and Web-based software systems to support NASA's diverse activities. NASA faces the need to reconcile increasing demands for innovations within its science, research, and spaceflight programs under the constraint of a reduced budget.
The stratety is to design IT solutions to address the following goals:

Aquilent works with NASA to develop IT solutions that achieve the following:
Enjoying over 20 years as one of NASA's premier providers of software services, Aquilent helps develop and implement technologies for numerous mission ground systems and scientific data analysis initiatives.
Image 2000
Open source software application designed for classroom educators to make high-end scientific imaging accessible through a standard desktop computer.
Instrument Remote Control (IRC)
Adaptive, evolutionary framework created to provide robust, interactive, and distributed control and monitoring of scientific instruments. Later iterations will enable scientists to define, control, and monitor instruments via an intranet.
Visual System for Browsing, Analysis, and Retrieval of Data (VisBARD)
Advanced tools designed to help scientists analyze information contained in spacecraft datasets and correlate data from multiple sensors or sources.
