Mike Tock
As Director of Marketing and Communications for Aquilent, Mike Tock is responsible for creating and delivering Aquilent’s brand through all traditional and social media channels. Aquilent is a recognized leading provider of web-based solutions shaping the next generation of technology for the Federal Government with specialized expertise in the Health IT and Acquisition domains.
Under his direction, Aquilent has received the following recognition:
- Tech Council of Maryland Government Contracting Firm of the Year, 2008
- Top 50 Best Places to Work, Washington Business Journal, 2009 and 2010
- Gazette’s Exceptional 53 Recognition of Top Companies in Maryland, 2010
Mr. Tock recently graduated from the Partners Program for the Industry Advisory Council (IAC), is an IAC Fellow, and is the Vice Chair for the 2011 Excellence.gov awards. He has more than 20 years of strategic business experience in Marketing and Business Development in the Federal IT Market where he has been responsible for identifying, qualifying and positioning for new business opportunities while also developing marketing plans, capture plans, and supporting proposals. In addition, his marketing and advertising expertise cover a broad spectrum of industries from his 15+ years in the Advertising Agency industry.
As part of Aquilent’s Executive Committee, Mr. Tock is an integral part of the team that creates the company’s vision and executes on the strategies that drive corporate growth. Mr. Tock holds a B.S. in Journalism and a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Maryland. He volunteers with several organizations and spends the rest of his free time with his family skiing, playing basketball, tennis, swimming, and traveling.
