Aquilent Wins TCM's 2008 Tech Award / 5.16.2008
Aquilent has been awarded the Government Contracting Firm of the Year Award by the Tech Council of maryland (TCM) at its 20th Annual Tech Awards ceremony. For 20 years, TCM has recognized the outstanding achievements of the IT and biotechnology communities in the state of Maryland. The award ceremony was held on May 15th at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Bethesda, MD and was attended by Governor Martin O'Malley, Comptroller Peter Franchot, and other state legislators.
Aquilent Designs "Excellent" Blog for GSA's Office of Citizen Services and Communications/ 5.14.2008
GSA's blog Gov Gab, which was designed by Aquilent, Inc., was recently reviewed by the editors of Blogged.com and received a 9 out of 10 rating. This rating was based on the blog's frequency of updates, relevance of content, site design, and writing style. Gov Gab is the second-best U.S. Government blog according to Blogged.com and is ranked ahead of other media-related blogs such as MSNBC's Hardball, Defense Tech, and GovExec.com.
Aquilent Wins OCC Web Project/ 4.21.2008
Aquilent was awarded a two-year, $5.3 million contract at the Department of Treasury's Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Aquilent, and its partners PTC and Percussion, will work with the OCC to design, develop, test, implement, and support the new Web and Electronic Publishing System (WEPS) for the OCC.

Aquilent and LS3 Awarded Task Order to Develop Pilot of OneVA Web Portal / 1.9.2008
LS3 Inc. of Columbia, MD, working in close partnership with Aquilent, Inc. of Laurel, MD, has been awarded a $2.9 million contract to design and develop the OneVA Portal Pilot for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The initial focus is on creation of a unified veteran-focused information architecture and site design, identity management, and single sign-on to existing VA web systems.

Aquilent Wins Air Force Surgeon General Deal / 2.20.2007
Aquilent, in conjunction with THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. announced today the award of a 5-year, $4.2M contract from the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General, for strategic planning, analysis, systems integration, and deployment of the Air Force Integrated Framework Healthcare Toolset (AFIFHCT).
This project is a modernization initiative for migration and integration of web-based applications to help achieve the Air Force's personnel healthcare objectives of a Fit and Healthy Force, Enhanced Human Performance, and Casualty Prevention.
Aquilent Supports USA.gov Launch / 1.18.2007
Aquilent, Inc. today announced support of the U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) launch of USA.gov and GobiernoUSA.gov. As part of GSA’s effort to improve citizen access to government and in response to American citizens’ desire for a more memorable web address, FirstGov.gov has been renamed USA.gov.
Under the GSA FirstGov Refresh contract awarded to in October 2005, Aquilent worked with OCSC to design the new logos, update the banners, and add new features to the sites.
