Mr. Walters’ background consists primarily of project management and technical leadership and strategic analysis in web systems development and software engineering. His 14 years of experience ranges from comprehensive management of 60+ person Internet/intranet system development efforts to the hands-on management of web portal, e-Procurement, and enterprise content management system analysis and development efforts.

Matt led the graphical user interface and online content management system development efforts for the Hammer Award-winning FirstGov.gov (now USA.gov) portal. Matt also led the redesign/development of the United States Postal Service’s USPS.com website design program and the full web development of the Department of Health & Human Services HHS.gov web portal project. Most recently, Matt serves as the strategic thought leader and project manager for Enterprise Content Management (ECM) efforts at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Prior to joining Aquilent, Matt served as an Information Systems Officer in the US Marine Corps.

• He holds a B.S., Computer Science, United States Naval Academy and is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
