Developing a Hispanic Online Program

As part of the professional development program for our User Experience Design teams, we have invited Michelle Moscona & Lee Vann from Captura Group to hold a one day workshop onsite at Aquilent on March 30, 2006.

This workshop is the first in the Multilingual Web Strategy series and will focus on the Intermediate level topic of, " Developing a Hispanic Online Program."  Captura Group is Aquilent's partner for the FirstGov Refresh project and Espanol.gov.

  • Demographics and user needs of the Hispanic online market, including growth trends.
  • An assessment of Hispanic online traffic to different Federal web sites, according to research from ComScore Media Metrix's Hispanic panel.
  • Best practices in multilingual site development, maintenance and marketing.
  • Specific approach and tactics used in the FirstGov and FirstGov en Español Refresh project
