Aquilent Wins 5-Yr $2M BPA for USGS Web Support / 10.16.2006
Aquilent, Inc. awarded a $2M five year, Blanket Purchase Order Contract with United States Geological Survey to provide web development, management and related services. The initial task orders awarded through the BPA include support for USGS’ Marketplace E-Commerce portal and Web analytics strategy development.
Aquilent Wins 2-YR $4.2M Contract for VA / 10.5.2006
Aquilent awarded a contract from the VA to provide services to continue the development and enhancement of the My HealtheVet (MHV) Portal. The base period of the contract is 12 months and valued at $2.1M, with a 12 month contract option of similar value.

Aquilent hosts a procurement workshop titled " SeaPort: Streamlining the IDIQ Acquisition Process." The workshop presented a case study of the SeaPort-e multiple award contract and demonstrate the portal used to manage one of the largest IT contracts in the Federal government.

Gilbane Conference on Content Technologies for Government. The session compares and contrasts the content modeling exercises of several different federal agencies and provided attendees a roadmap for getting started with their own content analysis.
Aquilent System Receives National Environmental Excellence Award / 04.14.06
The National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP) honored the National Park Service (NPS) with the 2006 National Environmental Excellence Award in the Best Available Environmental Technology Category. NPS was selected for the award for the development and implementation of the Planning, Environment, and Public Comment System (PEPC system) for its significant achievement and demonstrated success in receiving and addressing hundreds of thousands of public comments.

Aquilent will host professional development workshop "Content and Taxonomy for the Long-Haul " as the first of a multi-part series: "Successful CMS Implementations ." The one-day workshop will be held Tuesday May 9, 2006. Aquilent's original 2003 and $11M contract with VA expanded with $25M BPA. The BPA supports the enhancement and nation-wide rollout of VA's Electronic Contract Management System developed by Aquilent.

Aquilent announces the award of a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) at the Department of Labor (DOL) Information Technology Center (ITC) for systems development and business analysis support. The BPA has a ceiling value of $16 million and a four year period of performance.

Aquilent, Inc. announced today the execution of a contract modification by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) to leverage the Aquilent-developed SeaPort portal for the Department of Defense (DoD )Commodity Council's Defense-Wide Strategic Sourcing (DWSS) pilot. SeaPort is the DoD e-Business solution for strategic sourcing and managing multiple award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts.
